LLP Representation
At Covalent LLP & Legal Services, we offer full legal representation in select family law matters through a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP). Full representation means that we handle your case from start to finish—advising you on your options, preparing and filing legal documents, communicating with the opposing party or counsel, and guiding you through negotiations or stipulated agreements. Our goal is to make the legal process as clear, efficient, and supportive as possible, while delivering results that align with your values and priorities.
As an LLP firm, we are authorized by the Colorado Supreme Court to represent clients in specific family law matters, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, and post-decree modifications. We can appear on your behalf in court for non-contested matters and settlement hearings, and we are equipped to help you resolve disputes without escalating conflict. Our representation model is designed to offer many of the benefits of working with an attorney—at a more accessible cost and with a client-focused approach.
However, there are important limitations to understand. LLPs may not represent clients in contested hearings that require oral argument or witness examination, nor in cases involving third parties disputing parental rights, complex trust issues, or high-conflict business asset division. If your case falls outside of the LLP scope as defined by Rule 207, we will help you identify those issues early and provide appropriate referrals if needed. Our commitment is to give you honest, professional support—always within the boundaries of what we are ethically and legally permitted to do.
Unbundled LLP Services
Unbundled legal services—also known as limited-scope representation—offer clients the flexibility to receive professional legal assistance for only the parts of their case where help is most needed.
